Important Steps Have Been Made In The National Standard Revision Of Textile Industry.

According to the national standard revision project plan issued by the national standards committee, the China Textile Industry Association's centralized management and 414 national standards projects should be completed in 2008, of which 152 items should be completed in mid May.

The leaders of the Ministry of science and technology development attached great importance to the work. At the beginning of the year, the Standardization Technical Committee and the technology import unit were fully deployed. According to the characteristics of tight time and heavy tasks, the three requirements of quality, time and the rate of acceptance were put forward to ensure the completion of the standard approval work within the prescribed time limit.

Up to now, confirmed by the national standards review department, the China Textile Industry Association has completed the approval work of 92 national standards, covering 105 national standard plans, plus 06 standards that have been completed and approved by the National Standards Committee in 06 or 07 years, and 145 projects have been completed.

In addition to the termination of the 3 plans due to merger or product withdrawal from the market, the 4 plan was postponed to the second half of the year, and the planned completion rate reached 100%, which successfully completed the task assigned by the National Standard Committee.

The 92 national standards for approval have the following characteristics: first, they involve a wide range of fields.

Among the 92 standards for approval, cotton, wool, hemp, silk, knitting, chemical fiber, clothing, textile machinery, geosynthetics and other professional fields and multiple product categories.

Among the reported standards, there are 15 basic standards, 50 test methods, and 27 major product standards.

For example, the limits of toxic and harmful substances in textile fibers, the evaluation of moisture absorption and dryness of textiles, the evaluation of antibacterial properties, the evaluation of electrostatic properties, the positions and methods of anthropometric measurements in infant clothing, and the general technical specifications of professional sportswear and protective products, are the 10 standards for newly formulated projects, which have solved the deficiency of standards and filled the gaps in China.

Four, a large number of standard age standards have been revised.

For example, the 17 standards of textile materials such as moisture regain, textile maintenance and labeling, determination of the content of acid and alkali in wool, jute yarn and so on are the revisions to the standards promulgated in 80s. The longest standard age has been over 20 years. The 54 standards of cotton colored yarn, cotton colored cloth, cotton dyed fabric, polyester, viscose staple fiber, filament and its matching testing methods, shirts and so on are revisions to the standards promulgated in 90s.

Through revision, the problems of standard aging, marked age and low technology level were solved, and the market adaptability of standard was improved.

For textile evaluation, the 9 standards of grey evaluation card for color change, grey color card for evaluation of color change, identification of geosynthetics, identification of tensile properties of joints of textile fabrics and their products, etc. are equivalent to ISO international standard or EU standard. The ISO standard is adopted to modify 21 standards of textile color fastness to rubbing. Others are not equivalent to BISFA or USA or EU standards.

In the second half of this year, our industry will complete more than 200 national standard projects, and important progress will be made in the revision and revision of national standards.
